On these engines there are 2 gear belts, – a cam-shaft and platen drive виброгасителя.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Remove drive belts, turn away bolts and remove pulleys of the pump of system of cooling and коленвала. |
| 3. Remove both forward covers and linings. |
| 4. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ a compression step. Since this moment rotation коленвала is not supposed. |
| 5. Designate on a gear belt a rotation direction, ослабьте натяжитель, displace to the block of cylinders, tighten bolts and remove a belt. |
| 6. Remove asterisks of a cam-shaft and коленвала. |
| 7. Remove заглушку in the left part of the block of cylinders and having inserted a screw-driver in diameter of 8 mm and length not less than 60 mm, fix the left platen виброгасителя. |
| 8. Turn away a bolt and remove an asterisk of the oil pump. |
| 9. Release a bolt of the right platen виброгасителя and remove натяжитель виброгасителя Century |
| 10. Remove a belt In the platen виброгасителя. |
| 11. Check up a belt condition, at detection of any defects replace. |
| 12. Check up a condition of asterisks and натяжителя. At ovality of teeths replace an asterisk. Натяжитель replace at detection of leak of greasing from under a roller epiploon. |
| 13. It is forbidden to wash out a roller and asterisks in solvent. |

| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Establish on коленвал a platen asterisk виброгасителя. |
|
2. Establish on the right platen (if acted in film) the plug, an asterisk and tighten a bolt by hand (1 – a label on an asterisk; 2 – a label on the case; 3 – dredging on an asterisk). |
|
3. Combine labels and dress a platen belt so that on the party in which rests натяжитель, there was a weak point (1 – натяжитель; 2 – the tension party; 3 – a belt In; 4 – a bolt; 5 – an axis of symmetry of a roller натяжителя) |
| 4. Establish натяжитель In on an illustration. |
| 5. Having lifted a roller, pull a belt and tighten a bolt with the moment 18 Н.м. |
| 6. Tighten a bolt of an asterisk of the platen with the moment 35 Н.м. |
| 7. Check up a tension of a belt of the platen (a deflection of 5-7 mm). If necessary again adjust. |
| 8. Establish on коленвал an asterisk of a belt of a cam-shaft, a washer and tighten a bolt with the moment 119 Н.м. |
| 9. Establish an asterisk on a cam-shaft and tighten a bolt with the moment 89 Н.м. |
| 10. Establish натяжитель a belt, a spring and fix a bolt and a nut, having displaced натяжитель to the pump. Dress an asterisk of the oil pump and tighten a nut with the moment 54 Н.м. |
| 11. Check up coincidence of labels on all asterisks, if necessary remove пруток, fixing an asterisk of the platen and tighten an asterisk of the oil pump. Insert пруток into place. |
The prevention If пруток comes only on 25 mm turn the oil pump on 1 turn clockwise.

| 12. Dress a cam-shaft belt on the put arrow. Release a bolt and a nut натяжителя and pull a belt. |
| 13. Check up облегание a belt of an asterisk of a cam-shaft, the belt can pass with easing in sector of 7-12 hours. Be convinced, that the belt does not touch adjoining details. |
|
14. Tighten at first a bolt in a groove натяжителя, then a nut (otherwise the belt will tear). |
| 15. Check up combination of all labels and remove пруток. Turn коленвал on 1 turn. |
| 16. Release a nut and a bolt натяжителя. Tighten a bolt, then a nut with the moment 49 Н.м. |
|
17. Check up a belt tension, having compressed and having rejected its fingers, resting in the case. The deviation should be no more than 14 mm (1 – a tension, 2 – натяжитель). |
| 18. Further assemblage is carried out upside-down. After engine start-up hear to noise from a belt. If unusual noise stop the engine are distributed and check up installation and a belt tension. |

| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Remove drive belts, turn away bolts and remove pulleys of the pump of system of cooling and коленвала. |
| 3. Remove the top cover, having paid attention on an arrangement of bolts. |
| 4. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ a compression step. Since this moment rotation коленвала is not supposed. |
| 5. Remove a pulley коленвала. |
| 6. Remove the bottom cover of a belt. |
| 7. Ослабьте натяжитель, displace to the cooling pump, tighten bolts. |
| 8. Remove asterisks of a cam-shaft and the fuel pump, not supposing rotation of shaft of these units. |
| 9. Remove a gear belt. |
|
10. If the belt виброгасителя fix platens acts in film, having removed заглушку on the right side and having inserted пруток (a screw-driver in diameter of 8 mm). On the left side remove a cover and insert thick пруток (the key extension piece). |
| 11. Designate labels and remove asterisks of platens. |
| 12. Check up a condition of belts, at detection of any defects replace. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Establish on коленвал a platen asterisk виброгасителя, dress a pulley tighten a bolt with the moment 70 Н.м. |
|
2. Establish an asterisk of the fuel pump, the plug (a cone inside) and asterisks of platens. Tighten bolts of asterisks with the moment 38 Н.м. (1 – the tension party; 2 – the cooling pump). |
|
3. Combine labels on asterisks of platens (1 – labels; 2 – the tension party; 3 – a belt In; 4 – натяжитель). Check up a tension of a belt of the platen in a place And. |
| 4. Dress a belt () so that on the party in which rests натяжитель, there was a weak point. |
| 5. Check up combination of labels, having pressed on a belt a finger. Not weakening a tension, release a bolt and a nut натяжителя. Tighten at first a nut, then a bolt. |
| 6. Check up a tension of a belt of the platen (a deflection of 5-7 mm). |
| 7. Check up combination of labels of asterisks of a belt of a cam-shaft and the pump and dress a belt, having pulled between it коленвалом and the pump (at installation the assistant keeps a pump asterisk). |
|
8. Release bolts натяжителя, and choose a belt weak point. Tighten a bolt in a groove натяжителя, then an axis bolt. Check up прилегание a belt to an asterisk of a cam-shaft (2), the belt can pass with easing in sector at 10 o'clock. Be convinced, that the belt does not touch adjoining details (1 – a pump asterisk). |
| 9. Check up combination of labels of asterisks, if necessary remove belts and expose asterisks. |
|
10. Turn коленвал so that the cam-shaft asterisk was displaced on 2 teeth from an adjusting label and return back, having exposed an asterisk in former position. |
| 11. Check up a belt tension (the deflection should be no more than 4-5 mm). |
| 12. Establish covers and other removed details. Tighten a pulley bolt коленвала with the moment 64–73 Н.м. |
