PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the idle relay disconnect the plug on a conclusion of M and concern with a crosspiece attached to the battery, conclusion S. If the relay works, conducting or the ignition lock is faulty. Otherwise the relay replace. It is possible also to ask to include the assistant a starter (having disconnected a coil wire on the distributor) and to measure pressure between conclusions of M and Century

2. If on a working starter pressure on a conclusion In close to pressure of the battery, and on a conclusion In strongly differs, the relay replace.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a starter.

2. Disconnect the plug on the M. conclusion

3. Turn away screws, unhook плунжер from a plug and remove the traction relay, not supposing loss of linings. Measure a thickness of linings and define their number.

4. Establish linings and the relay, tighten screws.

5. Check up a backlash between a gear wheel and the terminator, having connected to conclusions S and relay M (+) and (-) poles of the battery for the period of no more 10 with. On a starter with a reducer check up a gear wheel course. The backlash (a gear wheel course) should be 0,5–2,0 mm. If necessary correct selection of linings.

6. Establish a starter.

Replacement of brushes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the removed starter disconnect the M plug, turn away coupling bolts and remove a back cover.

2. Raise springs and get brushes, remove щеткодержатель from a back cover.

3. Check up brushes. If deterioration reaches firm brands brushes replace.

4. For replacement crush the worn out brushes and carefully smooth out a brush wire on 6 mm. Insert a wire into a new brush from the party where there is no brand and is accurate пропаяйте, not supposing вытекания solder from an opposite side.
