Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect weight. Remove the air filter (on a part инжекторных engines to disconnect from an inlet collector an air line enough). |
| 2. Disconnect from a cover ventilating hoses. For access to a cover take aside other hoses, needlessly hoses try not to disconnect. |
| 3. Disconnect from свеч wires and take aside. On двухвальных engines be careful, as wires can be damaged easily. |
| 4. If the cover of a head of cylinders is located over a belt cover turn away bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders. |
| 5. If the cover of a head of cylinders is located under a belt cover remove a belt cover, then turn away bolts of a cover of a head of cylinders. |
| 6. Cautiously remove a cover, to hook a cover it is forbidden. |
| 7. Remove semicircular заглушку in a back part of a cover (or heads of cylinders). |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Clear a cover. Remove the rests of hermetic with заглушки and cover edges. If the cover lining did not vary at repeated removal of a cover replace it. |
|
2. Before installation grease with hermetic the places specified on illustrations: (1 places of drawing of hermetic, 2 – заглушка, 3 – to grease with hermetic of area of a head of cylinders in 10 mm from edges заглушки).

3. On engines V6 grease with hermetic a lining on corners (1 place of drawing of hermetic).
|
| 4. Further assemblage is carried out upside-down. At a tightening of bolts a cover slightly press. Cover bolts tighten with the moment 4,0–5,4 Н.м. The engine can be started in 2 hours. If leaks remove a cover are observed and define the reason. |

Removal

| 1. Disconnect weight. Disconnect from a cover ventilating hoses. |
| 2. Turn away 2 bolts and remove a cover and a lining. |
| 3. Clear a cover. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| Installation is carried out upside-down. The cover lining can be used, if on it there are no damages, or rubber has not hardened. Hermetic to use it is forbidden. Tighten bolts with the moment 4–5 Н.м. |
