11.14.1. Replacement колодок


On большей parts of cars the deterioration indicator колодок is provided. If at using brakes characteristic squeal check up deterioration колодок is distributed. If the indicator adjoins to a brake disk колодки it is necessary to replace.

The residual thickness колодок can be checked up through a window in a support, for more detailed survey (uniformity of deterioration on planes and condition checks) колодки should remove. A limiting residual thickness колодок 2,0 mm.

1. Lift redock of the car and remove a wheel.
2. Remove a part of a liquid from a tank.
3. Turn away the bottom finger, cast away a support and fix. Do not suppose removal of protective greasing of a finger of a support, or hit on it of a dirt.
4. Remove колодки, plates and скобы, remember an arrangement of these details.


1. Drown the piston in the cylinder of a support by means of a clamp, watching for liquid level in a tank (at installation new колодок the piston should be taken away on considerable distance).
2. Establish plates, скобы and new колодки in a former order. If are provided top and bottom скобы it is necessary to replace them together with колодками.
3. Establish a support, a wheel and lower the car.
4. Press a pedal some times that колодки have nestled on a disk.
5. Check up liquid level, if necessary add.
6. Start the engine and again press some times a brake pedal, check up rigidity of a pedal.
7. At the first 15 km of run with new колодками avoid sharp braking.
