11.19. The gauge of speed

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the gauge and a gear rotor.
2. At detection on a polar tip of the gauge of damages or a deposit of metal owing to a magnetic attraction, the gauge replace.
3. Check up resistance between gauge conclusions. For gauges of forward wheels resistance should be 900–1100 Ohm, gauges of back wheels – 1300–2100 Ohm.
4. Resistance of the gauge on the case should be not less than 100 clod.
5. Otherwise the gauge replace.
6. The gauge with visible damages replace.
7. Check up a condition of teeths of a rotor. A rotor with the worn out or broken teeths replace.

Removal and installation

GAUGES OF FORWARD WHEELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, lift the car and remove a wheel.
2. Disconnect from the gauge a socket, remove скобы and get conducting.
3. Turn away 2 bolts on a rotary fist and it is cautious, not supposing impact, remove a magnetic part of the gauge from a fist.
4. Remove a conducting arm.
5. Remove a nave with a disk (subsection 9.3.12, subsection 9.3.13 see) and get a gauge rotor, having turned away bolts.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down.
7. Sustain a backlash of 0,2-1,0 mm between a head of the gauge and a rotor wreath. In case of infringement of this backlash check up correctness of installation of a rotor.
8. If the gauge varied, check up system in car-care centre.

GAUGES OF BACK WHEELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, lift the car and remove a back wheel.
2. Disconnect from the gauge a socket on the lever of a back suspension bracket, remove скобы on a beam of the bridge and get conducting.
3. Turn away 2 bolts on a board of a brake and cautiously remove a sensitive element of the gauge and sealing rings.
4. Remove полуось (subsection 9.4.1 see) and a brake disk, remove a rotor and a gauge arm.
5. Installation is carried out upside-down.
6. Sustain a backlash of 0,3-0,9 mm between a head of the gauge and a rotor wreath. In case of infringement of this backlash check up correctness of installation of a disk of a brake.
7. If the gauge varied, check up system in car-care centre.
