PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a camshaft in the centres of a lathe or enclose basic necks in two prisms and measure shaft palpation on an average neck.
2. Consider that the indication стрелочного the indicator for one turn of a camshaft corresponds to the doubled value of palpation of a shaft. Palpation should not exceed 0,02 mm. At excess of this value the camshaft is subject to replacement.
3. Check up surfaces of cams from both parties. If it is not revealed any visible places of deterioration, it is necessary to measure height of cams a calliper, and to compare results of measurements to data of the table of adjustments and the sizes.

5. Measure the size "And" from the interior of a cover of the bearing and write down value. Measure and write down the size "In", that is width of a basic neck of a camshaft.
6. Subtract from the size "And" the size "In". The difference of these sizes is axial люфтом a camshaft which should not exceed value of 0,04 mm. Otherwise it is necessary to replace a camshaft or a bearing cover.
7. Check up degree of deterioration of basic necks of a camshaft.
8. In the presence of deterioration of necks the further works to carry out it is not required. In this case it is necessary to check up also apertures under bearings in a head of cylinders which can be developed also.
9. For definition люфтов camshaft bearings put on covers of bearings according to their numbering and tighten till the ordered moment. Make measurement of bearings (fig.
