Removal and installation

| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Remove the selector handle. |
| 3. Remove the central section and the index of position of the selector. |
| 4. Disconnect a socket of a control lamp and the switch. |
| 5. Disconnect draught from the lever, having turned away a nut, working under the car. |
| 6. Turn away screws and remove an arm. |
| 7. Assemblage is carried out upside-down taking into account the following. |
|
8. Grease rubbing parts of the lever and draught with greasing SAE J310А or NLGI N3. |
| 9. Adjust position of the blocking switch (subsection 9.3.2.1 see). |
| 10. If draught acted in film from the lever establish the selector in neutral position, then move draught, having established transmission to neutral position (block wheels). |
| 11. Be convinced, that the starter joins only in positions Р and N and in operation of a signal of a backing in position R. |
| 12. Adjust the clown of the selector. For this purpose rotating the clown. Establish distance between end faces of the selector and the clown of 11,3-12,7 mm. |

| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Displace a cover downwards and disconnect a socket of the switch of the higher transfer (оverdrive) on the handle. |
| 3. Turn away screws and remove the handle, disconnect the top socket of the switch, remove a cover. |
| 4. Remove the index of position of the selector, having turned away screws of a cover and having disconnected sockets of the blocking switch and a control lamp. |
| 5. Remove an arm with the management mechanism. |
| 6. For this purpose, working from below, turn away a nut, disconnect draught In from the lever, cross-section draught from draught In, remove washers and a guard. |
| 7. Remove a cover, remove a lock ring, springs, plugs and a sealant of cross-section draught. |
| 8. Turn away bolts of arms on a distributing box, расшплинтуйте and disconnect cross-section draught from draughts And and In, remove plugs and washers. |
| 9. Remove a shaft of cross-section draught. |
| 10. Расшплинтуйте also disconnect draught And, remove plugs and a washer. |
|
11. Replace шплинты connections of draughts (1 – draught And, 2 – a shaft of cross-section draught). |
| 12. Assemblage is carried out upside-down taking into account the following. |
|
13. Grease the specified places with greasing SAE J310А or NLGI N3. |
| 14. Replace all specified details. |
| 15. Draught In establish having translated the selector and transmission in neutral position. |
|
16. Be convinced of correctness of installation of plugs and draught washers In (1 – the lever, 2 – draught). |
| 17. Tighten all connections according to the demanded moments. |
| 18. Check up work of the mechanism of management as transmission and inclusion of the higher transfer by button pressing the handle. |

CARS 1990-98
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Disconnect from the selector all cables. |
| 3. Turn away bolts and remove the selector in gathering. |
| 4. Turn away bolts and remove a guard of a distributing box. |
| 5. Turn away a nut of fastening of the top lever to an arm on transmission. |
| 6. Расшплинтуйте also disconnect a cable from the lever. |
| 7. Turn away a nut and bolts of fastening of arms (6–8 pieces) and remove arms of a cable and a cable tip. |
| 8. Remove a cable. |
| 9. Assemblage is carried out upside-down taking into account the following. |
| 10. Grease rubbing places (axis). |
| 11. Tighten all connections with the moments specified in illustrations. |
| 12. Adjust cables in a following order. |

13. Move the selector to position N, working under the car release a counternut, slightly submit a cable (2) towards a forward part of transmission and tighten a nut (1). |

14. Move the selector to position Р and adjust cable position so that the red label (the cable termination) was in the specified position, tighten a nut (1, 3 – a cable, 2 – a clamp emphasis, 4 – a nut, 5 – a clamp cam, 6 – a site of the termination of a cable). |

15. Dress a spring (the selector is in position) and a washer definitely (1 – a cable, 2 – an axis, 3 – a clamp cam, 4 – a washer, 5 – a spring). |
| 16. Slightly submit a cam in an arrow direction against the stop and tighten a nut. |
