 The tablet with instructions of type of transmission is strengthened on a partition of a motor compartment.

Cars of early releases were completed with transmission МА904А of firm Chrysler Torqueflite. The transmission structure includes the hydrotransformer and 3-step system of change of transfers with 2 multidisk couplings, обгонными муфтами and the planetary reducers, united in uniform картере. The hydraulic system consists of the pump and the block of valves.

Transmissions of other types – 4-step, with шестеренчатым the pump, with 3 multidisk couplings, 3 обгонными муфтами, 4 multidisk brakes and 2 planetary reducers. The transfer number of 4th transfer 0,668:1, this transfer is used as the higher at too big turns of the engine.

On transmissions КМ148 and V4AW2 (3) устнавливается a distributing box with constant gearing of teeths of gear wheels. A box переключаетмся in position 2WD/4WD () and the forward axis is disconnected or joins in position HIGH/LOW (inclusion or switching-off демультипликатора on 4 driving wheels).

In the tablet for transmissions V4AW2 (3), strengthened on a partition of a motor compartment, are specified type транмиссии and transfer numbers (the last 4 numbers).

It is recommended to fill transmission with liquid Mopar ATF Plus Type 7176 or
Dexron II.
