THE GENERAL DATA

THE ENGINE OF 2,6 L

On these engines backlash check in the induction gauge which should be carried out only after dismantling of the distributor of ignition is supposed only and is not a servicing compulsory procedure. Reduction of a backlash against norm is not supposed. As a rule the small backlash is caused by deterioration of bearings of the platen of the distributor of ignition or wrong assemblage.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a distributor cover.
2. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of a rotor.
3. Rotating коленвал, combine 3 heads статора with 3 terminations of a rotor of the gauge.

THE ENGINE OF 2,0 L

On these engines check and backlash adjustment in the induction gauge which should be performed in case of suspicions for abnormal work of ignition is supposed and is not a servicing compulsory procedure.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cover of the distributor and бегунок.
2. Having turned коленвал clockwise, combine a teeth on a rotor of the gauge with a motionless part of the block of ignition.
3. Check up a backlash between a tooth and a motionless part of the block of ignition which should be 0,8 mm. If necessary отреулируйте.
4. For this purpose release screws and insert щуп into a backlash.
5. Turning the ignition block on the left screw (moving to the right groove), establish a backlash.
6. Tighten the right screw, then left.
7. Check up a backlash and establish the removed details.
