Conclusions of the switch of a screen wiper of back glass (1983-93)

Conclusions of the switch of a screen wiper of wind and back glass (1994-95)

On cars 1983-89 the switch of a cleaner of a windscreen is united with the switch of headlights, on cars 1990-93 the switch of a cleaner of a windscreen enters into a combination of switches on a steering column, since 1994 the screen wiper switch is mounted on a steering column separately.

On cars till 1994 the switch of a cleaner and a washer of back glass is executed in the form of an on-off key and mounted on the forward panel of salon. After 1994 switches of screen wipers are mounted on a steering column.

Removal and installation

CARS 1983-93

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Hook and get the switch from the forward panel.

2. Check up chain presence between following conclusions of the switch: 7–2 at position of the switch of cleaner ON, 5–2 at position of the switch of cleaner OFF, 5–2 and 3–8 at position of the switch of cleaner INT, 7–6 at position of the switch of washer ON.

3. If the chain at least between 1 pair these conclusions is not present, the switch replace.

CARS 1994-98

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove casings of a steering column.

2. Release screws and remove the switch.

3. Check up chain presence between following conclusions of the switch for a windscreen: 7–8 at switch OFF position, 8–10 at switch LO position, 9–10 at switch NI position, 6–10 at position of the switch of washer ON.

4. Check up chain presence between following conclusions of the switch for back glass: 2–7 at switch ON position, 4–7 at switch OFF position, 1–6 at switch INT position, 2–3 at position of the switch of washer ON, 5–8 at illumination inclusion.

5. If the chain between conclusions mismatches the specified scheme the switch replace.

6. Disconnect the battery from weight.

7. Disconnect a socket and establish the new switch upside-down.
