Safety pillows are intended for protection of the driver on a forward seat in case of collision. The system includes the inertial gauges mounted on panels from both parties of a radiator, and the module with a pillow which is in the steering wheel centre. System service is carried out only in car-care centre.

If the control lamp of system burns after inclusion of ignition and later 7 сек dies away, the system is serviceable. If the mode of burning of a lamp differs from specified immediately address in car-care centre.

Safety measures at service

1. Works on system service, including removal and installation of the module of a pillow, should be carried out by qualified personnel with use of following equipment:

  – Scanner MB991502;
  – ROM Pack;
  – Tester MB991349 SRS;
  – A diagnostic socket And conductings MB686560 SRS;
  – A diagnostic socket In conductings MB628919 SRS.

Use of other equipment is forbidden.

2. Start works after not less 60 сек after a weight detachment.

3. It is forbidden to subject details of system to heating from above 93 ° With.

4. At connection and switching-off of the scanner ignition should be switched off.

5. At manipulations with the pillow container are forbidden to subject its sharp mechanical influences, and also water and greasing influences.
