The ignition lock
LOCK – on models with a mechanical transmission at extraction of a key from the ignition lock turn a key in position АСС and continue to press on it while it will not turn in position LOCK. Get a key. On models with an automatic transmission at extraction of a key from the ignition lock in the beginning translate the lever of an automatic transmission in position Р (парковочная transfer), then turn a key in position LOCK and get it.
The prevention On cars with an automatic transmission a key it is impossible to get from the ignition lock while the lever of an automatic transmission will not be translated in position Р (парковочная transfer).
АСС – key turn in the ignition lock in this position allows to use a car electric equipment, not starting the engine.
ON – the key in the ignition lock is in this position at engine work. It is possible to use all electric equipment of the car.
The prevention Do not leave a key in the ignition lock in position ON when the engine does not work.
START – includes a starter. After engine start release a key, and it will automatically return to position ON.
On cars with illumination of the lock of ignition at opening of a door of the driver the lamp of illumination of the lock of ignition joins. Illumination of the lock of ignition remains included approximately during 10 with the ambassador of closing of a door or while the key in the ignition lock will not be turned in position ON. |
